I was told that the supercharger on our old 89 Vette was on its way out. It would not boost to 6psi like it did before, which is understandable.

I was told that if I took off the tube connecting the super charger to the throttle body, I would find a ton of oil.

Assuming the supercharger is bad, can this Paxton be rebuilt? If so, about how much would it cost me to do it myself or have a shop do it?
