Default clogged radiators

Just read my latest issue of Corvette Enthusiast. There was a good article about radiator maintenance. 90-96 years have a space between the a/c condensor and radiator on the passenger side so you can look for debris. I took a look and found a bunch of junk, mostly grass clippings, pine needles, and other assorted vegetation. The access is kind of narrow so it's tough to get something in there to clean it out, but once it's knocked off the radiator it falls down to aplastic platebetween the condensor and the radiator and can be vacuumed out from underneath. I had to jack the car up to get at the space. You guys (and gals) who may have cooling problems should take a look. I was amazed at all the stuff that was in there.

I have used a 4 ft long peice of 5/16 brake line. Bent the one end hat a 45degree angle and atached the other end to my air nozzel on the air compresser hose. It works real nice for getting in that little area to blow the garbage off the radiator.

You need to take the shroud off to clean the radiator. Your wasting your time unless you do this and even then you won't get it 100% clean unless you remove the radiator.

Good advice. I cleaned out a bunch of leaves, insects, and twigs that I wouldn't have known were present otherwise.
