Question Radiators... Aluminum or Copper ???

Just got my first Corvette a 1978 L-82 trying to get her back on the road. Redid the headlight support. (lots of fun) New brakes, tires ect. Now the radiator is leaking....bummer.... I've been looking around for new one kind of on a budget. (who isn't) so aluminum or copper??? Guy at the rad shop said copper cools better. Considering a 4 core aluminum ??? are there problems ahead for me or should I stay with copper??? any and all input will help..

When I did my 79 I couldn't find a direct bolt-in aluminum,so I went with the copper. I suspect the copper will also be less expensive if you deal with the right people. Basically you might consider staying away from the Corvette specialists,go with somebody that sells only radiators, your bank account will appreciate it.

Smile Aluminum or copper

Thanks for the advice. Shopped around and found either to be comparably the same price. End up going with the copper....keep the faith!
