'93 6 speed -motor rebult 1 year ago -new everything -including opti-ran great but had slight rattle (detonation) on start up -once started ran great - i wanted to get ridof the rattle and have the fans come on sooner so i sent the chip out for a re-burn -borrowed a spare chip so i could drive the car -reinstalled my 'new' chip a week laterand all was beautiful for a few weeks - now this may be a coincidence but the car stalled at a lite as the fans came on and a check engine lite came on ( code 36)- it restarted but with a longer spin cycle than usual - at this point i've replaced the opti - the harness from theopti to the computer( was chaffed)-and tested the ecm with a new one - still samesymtoms - sometimes car will start right up and run fine for a few hrs then it will feel as if the key was turned off-n-on while crusing -check engine lite comes on - fans come on (default?)and the cycle starts all over again hard to start -but starts - tack moves while cranking -this is getting old and i'm ready to sell it -any help would be great .......
