creeky right rear sound when warm low speed
I have a 91 L89 which runs and acts ok. However, after about 5 miles or so when running slowly like in a parking lot when I start going I get a creeking noise from the right rear. Frequency seems like once per wheel revolution. Since it almost sounds like scraping I checked the brakes for hanging up and they are fine. When I get back on the road the noise gets faster and then goes away completely untill another parking type situation. Has anyone had similar problem.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Look at the brake calipers. You will need to remove the brake and inspect the caliper and guides. The guides need lubrication (typically some silicone based product) Most likely they are holding the brake pad to the rotor and you are hearing that noise.
Note: Even though the brakes pads look good after inspection, the lubrication is not always done by the brake repair service.
Let me know!

My guess would be a universal joint. Brakes make a high pitched squeaking noise, u joints make a creeking noise that will disappear as speed increases. If brakes make a sqeeking noise while you are driving, you usually can make it stop by appling the brakes slightly. U joints can also cause vibration sometimes more noticible when decellerating.
