Default Customer Non-Service

I just rcv'd the WORST customer service ever![:@][:@][:@]

Tried to get the right alternator (again) from those yahoos at gearheadworld.[sm=shootshoot.gif]

They told me it was MY problem that they sent me the wrong part.

Ordered polished, rcv'd chrome plated.

Ordered specifically for a 1987 Corvette (which would be serpentine belt) and got a v-belt. I believe they stopped using v-belts in around '83 or so...

Turns out that they DO NOT EVEN HAVE WHAT THEY ADVERTISED[sm=boosign.gif]

Now they have told me that it's my responsibility to return it. At my expense[:'(]

Tried to stop payment through PayPal. Doesn't count they said.

Arrrggghhhh.

Sorry for the rant[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Dispute the credit card charge.

It's the only way the bastages will learn not to do the same to the rest of us, and you get your money back for incorrect part sent.

I did[:@]

Spent all day arguing with gearheadworld.com and PayPal to no avail[&o][&o][&o]

I was shocked[]

I hate to admit it, but I finally gave in to the smug b@stardsat the g@di&Kheadworld.com
company(LESS)

This an exact quote from PayPal(less):

Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User
Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It
does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods
received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a
refund.

This, was unfortunately, the end of my battle.[:'(]

Thanks-for-nothin' PayPal(less)[sm=boosign.gif]

Sorry that I bothered applying for an account...

Cheers to the rest of us honest peeps[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Is the paypal card on a visacard? Or MC?

It has to be drawn on a bank. Pay the entire balance, except for the part, and wait for 'em to file a claim against you. You then counttersue for malicious and frivolous litigation.

cwb: It is an actual credit card through PayPal. Not affiliated with any major credit card or bank card.

Sounds strange but it is true

They sent me a "Customer Service Survey" to fill out

I blasted them[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
