Default Dash air vent in 88

I just got a 1988 Corvette and the A/C condensation is driving me nuts. Anyone know if they make covers or something for the air vent in the dash near the windshield. Everytime I turn the A/C on, it gets condensation on the windshield and I can't figure out what to do about it. Thanks.

Howdy there lawson - welcome onto the boards there.

I think there's some foam sleeve-like stuff that is supposed to seal joining duct sections, and duct doors. Yours has probably started breakin' up there. You might find bits of it blowin' out first time you use A/C in the spring, or heat in the fall.

Got no clue on the cure there, besides blockin' vents with a dash cover...

EDIT:
Ask ironhead 86 about the ductwork in the dash, and how easy it might be to get new foam on the doors in the ducting - I think he was just in there...

Thanks for the reply. I've already used the A/C and didn't see any foam pieces or anything. The A/C overall works great I just don't know how to get the vent in the dash to stop blowing. I have a dash cover already but it has the slit for the vent so it doesn't really do anything. I'll try to find one that doesn't have a slit in it or something. Thanks again.
