Now that I have some gas in my 85 I can ask for some ideas on other little things.

My turn signal works turning left, but doensnt flash when I turn it right....I manually blink it when I turn.

My driver door lock doesnt unlock, so when I enter through the passenger side door tha alarm goes off - I wait until the horn stops, and take my red face and skeeedaddle from the area.

I plan to buy an owners manual online - Im sure the manual has that info, it would be nice however to know that in case it happens again tomorrow.

Fuel guage is stuck on 3/4.

go to your GM dealer and get a .... what ever year you have. corvette electrical troubleshooting shop manual supplement.

 

By driver door not unlocking, do you mean with a key or remote? If by a key, then you probably have the rod that comes from the key tumbler to the handle loose. If that is the case, then yoou have to pull door panel (not easy, but doable) and take the inner aluminum panel loose to gain access to see.

 

I have a horrible track record with door panels and windows - I will just not lock the door! Or bring it to a pro...

The key turns it just doesn't unlock it - I lubed and cleaned the door and jamb closure opoints hoping it was just gummed up...so much for the easy fix!

There is a keyless remote for this year?

I better do some better research before posting these questions...
