Default Headlight gremlins

So I found out the hard way my battery has a bigger draw on it than I had thought(My guess is it's the old alarm system that's not working). Needless to say when I woke up this morning the car would not start. So I charged the battery for a few hours and drove the car around the block to make sure everything was ok. Now the headlights are stuck in the up position and I have no idea why.

Also, any idea what the two switches under the steering wheel are for? One has a cap that's similar to the caps on my tires and the other is more of a button that you can pull down or push up. Not a clue what they are for and I can't find anything about them in my manual.

Good morning Rick, it's 5:15 AM here in Michigan. The push-pull **** is to raise the head lights manually without the lights being on, the other one your describing-don't know.

Hi again Rickcusaf, is the other one for the "Trip Odometer" pull down and turn it and see if that's it. PG

Yup, it's the trip odom. The headlights were stuck due to headlight switch being stuck. Luckily it was an easy fix.
