was wondering if anyone knew the size of the door speakers ive got an 85 and want to change them thanx again for the help goota luv this forum you guys have helped me alot and probaly saved my wife form pulling her hair out well thanx for the help w/ the car anyhow lol[8D]

 

I BELEVE THEY ARE 3 INCH WOOFERS. FRONT AND REAR

 

You can check with your local dealer or any good sound shop, they have a listing that tells them. I believe it is indeed a 3" however with the bose system the cut out is for a 4 x 6 I think. Due to the built in amp on Bose what is in there isnt that big. Also I could be totally wrong,

 

i took all my bose out and made my own platesfor 6 inc in the front and then made plates for rear 6x9's.

the bose speakers are 4" i think. 6x9s in the back fit perfect. Im still in the process of putting the fronts in but they should fit 6 1/2s no problem.

 

ive removed the bose cases and speakers from the rear just havent gotten to the front disconnected the bose all around ran wires from the new system just havent replaced the the door speakers thanx for the help

 

if they are the same as my '88. they are 4"

 

my book says 3 inch fore 84- 96,[8D]
