Getting ready to tear into repair of oil leaks on my LT-4. Are the front seal and timing chain cover gaskets the same for 96 LT4 and LT1 engines? It seems there might be differences. Will I have to purchase these from the dealer? Anyone ever done this job? Any input appreciated.

 

You can those parts at any Carquest or O'Reilly stores. I would recommend O'Reilly because they carry Fel Pro, Carquest carries Victor. Both are good but it's a personnal favorite with me (Fel Pro).[8D]
