fuel injectors

Default fuel injectors

before i explained that my car was backfiring and fuel was on all eight of my plugs, gas smelling when car running, and the injector harness disconnected, but when it's connected the car starts then immediately shuts off , i guess from the fuel. question #1. i bought the coolant sensor and the o2 sensor but don't know where they are located on the car...................PLEASE HELP.....THANX

the coolant sensor is under the water pump. directly under it. the o2 sensors are in the exhaust before the catalytic converters.

would that coolant sensor be just above the water pump, i see what appears to be it there above but nothing under except the harmonic balancer

i apologize, i misread the pic i looked at. it is located above the water pump on the intake manifold.

The O2 is in the left exhaust pipe just below the exhaust manifold. GM also had a lot of trouble with coolant sensor wiring harnesses, so check your plug thoroughly for cracks and loose connections. If so, most auto parts that carry A/C Delco parts will have a wiring harness kit to repair it. [8D]
