Default Fuse blocks

I need help in locating fuse blocks on my 89 Vette Convertible. I know of the fuse block located on the right side of the dash, but need to find the fuse block which houses the fuses for the cooling fan relays.
Thanks,
Rocky

The cooling fan fuse is located inforward lampfuse block located on the driver's side fender housing inFRONT of the battery. It is infuse position #2 and is a 30 amp. Hope this helps. (This would be on a 93. Hopefully they're all similar.)

Thanks for the information. I don't have the fuse block on the fender housing, so 89 must be in a different location.

Open passenger door and on the side of the instrument panel is a cover over the fuse panel. [8D]

I know of the fuse panel on the inside of the passenger door. There is another fuse box for the fan relays. The fuses are much larger than the standard fuses.

An 89may use a fusible link, not a fuse in the fuse box. Trace the red wire from the fan relay back toward the battery, see if youfinda fusible link between the battery and the relay. On my 85 the fan relay is located under the hood, on the drivers side. It's mounted on the tire well near the battery.

rshiver is right. The fusible link is behind the battery in one cluster off a buss. Check the heavy red wire at the relay to see if there is power on it. If not, then fusible link is bad. If so, then check the black wire to the relay to see if you have power in the run mode, which gets its power from the 10a ECM Engine fuse and is grounded on the dk green and white wire by the ECM.
