Default FX3 Replacement ?

Ok guys, I have seen a few threads on this... I have a 1994 with FX3 and the dampers are leaking. I am considering buying the standard non-adjustable bilsteins, so looking for someone who has has done the same thing....Couple questsions;

1) I have read on the other sites that if you do this swap, the systems set the idoit light, and governs top speed to 80 MPH... can anyone confirm this?

2) Is your car a Z51 or not?

3) Does anyone know if the springrates are different between a base(non Z51), and a non Z51 FX3?

4) How was the ride after the swap... closer to Sport or touring ?

Thanks!

I don't believe there is a governor activated by an FX3 failure. The light can be disabled by accessing the
FX3 module located in the storage compartment behind the drivers seat.

It's about the size of a pack of cigarettes & is located on the bulkhead next to the ABS.
