Default Got pulled tonight....Long story.

Well. I just got my neons put back on today because they got broken from running over a piece of wood. I was cruising tonight and theres alot of punk wanna be racers and hot chix and I was havinga good time just riding around. Got up at a stoplight beside a C5They talked and said they liked the lights and said they liked my car and that there was a local vette club and said I should come sometime then light turned green and they turned off. Ok about 20 minutes later, my blue neons were on, note these do NOT flash, and I get pulled. Cops like these are illegal. You need to keepthem off and he was like goodnight and left like right then. No more than 60 seconds from stopping me talking and then leaving. 00OOK. Came home, told my dad, he said keep running em cuz they on a corvette 6 inches from the ground, not blinking and if it comes to it, he said he would get a attorney because there is no LEGAL law stating its against the law to have blue neons on the bottom of your car non-blinking. BOO YA!! I turned them back on and kept on cruising....Now im home. Hope he aint gunna mail me a ticket though. What you guys think?

You do what you want to obviously, you are an adult now. However, I have ALWAYS tried to not ****-off the police in the town where I live. Grew up with friend who would and they would get literally harrassed out of their licenses. Meaninng they would get pulled over sooo many times that their licenses would end up suspended.

Ticky-tack sh*t too (i.e. rolling a stop sign) can't prove that (failure to maintain the center of your lane) can't prove that. My point is that these are all bullsh*t judgement calls. The kind that there is really nothing you can do about. Escpecially if he has a partner with him.

I really like the performance aspect of my baby. In otherwords I tend to run her for all that she is worth a lot. I have had the local guys, who know me, wave me down to slow down rather than pulling me over. Or they have just shaken a finger at me (like NO, NO). I don't do anything dangerous IMO. I think they appreciate this but also realize it is a Vette[sm=gears.gif]

As for joing the local club, I think that is a great idea! Seriously, get to meet cool people who share your passion, maybe make some good friends and possibly some future business connections. I know you're young now but even ask your pops how important these connections could be in your future. Never to young to start networking

Keep the wave alive[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

oh crap, did I type too much?
