Halogen to LED Conversion on 1993 Corvette
I recently installed LED headlights on my 1993 Corvette. I had to purchase the load resistors, 50W 6 ohm, in order for the fog lamps to work. Has anyone actually installed the load resistors in the headlight assembly itself? Unfortunately, the only metal part (to act as a heat sink) in the whole assembly is the bucket for the headlight.
I've seem some posts on other sites about grounding the fog lamp relay which would then work independently of the dimmer switch. Has anyone performed this mod?
If you have any pics or Youtube videos of how to accomplish either method, it would be appreciated.

Yes but unfortunately was unable to find any videos. Because the resistors get very hot and there really isn't an ideal place to mount them in the headlight assembly, I've ecided to not to install them. Instead, I'm going to pursue the mod to the fog lamp relay whereby the light green wire (ground) is cut and connected directly to chassis ground.
I was just wondering if anyone that owns a 1993 Corvette has performed this mod and has videos and/or pics.
Appreciate the reply.
