1993 corvette dash lights don’t work with headlights on

I have a 1993 corvette c4 and when I turn the headlights on at night my dash lights don’t work but they work when the lights are off and my dimmer doesn’t do anything I can’t figure out what the problem is does anyone know

Welcome to the forum.

Just a shot in the dark but I would start with the headlight switch itself.

Think I would start with the dimmer control. Does it turn on the courtesy lights? Doesn't seem like a fuse issue but I always check the easy and obvious first.
