Has anyone here tried one of the dash kits? I am not a huge fan of wood but the carbon fiber and brushed aluminum kits might look good. I just dont want it to "cheapen" the look of the interior. Here is a link to the one I was looking at. There are a bunch on eBay.

Yes, I installed a Burl Oak one in my blue/white 87 Vette conv't and it looks really great. I receive many compliments on the car with both the top up and down. It does improve the interior appearance greatly. You can get the kit from eBay or from a custom shop. The only thing about eBay is that you can't actually see the product, and you have to be very careful who you deal with.
