Default Headers for 1994t1

Hello, Sorry I have not been around alot to ask alot of questions, My mother passed away Aug-7-2008 after a long bout with lung cancer. My mother loved the way my Vette sounded, , and I would like to do some things to it. Is having headers placed on the car a major problem, or does it run intoproblems, is this something not to do? Thanks for any Help.
Ps, I have had high flow cat converters and glass packsdone to the exhaust.

Thanks Dale

Sorry for your loss. If you go back in some of the old threads the factory manifolds were tuned best for street use. The aftermarket headers are based on the GM 's second best design. The changing to a aftermarket exhaust manifoldswould most likely have little change in the power band your motor would runs. Maybe invest in a power chip. Good Luck and God bless.

Hello,Dale....very sorry about your loss.I lost mine 4 yrs ago,and unfortunately, she never got to know her boy finally got his dream car,in his favorite color(Polo GreenMetallic)nonetheless!! Anyway,if you're considering headers,Corvette Central has this set, part # 324451.....they're ceramic-coated and they go for $579.00.Funny thing, though, the set is only available for '92 to '95,so since I have a '96,I have to look elsewhere!! Anyway, hope this helps...God bless....Joe
