Hey there and happy new year to all. I recently noticed that the highbeam indicator dash light has come on even when the lowbeams are on. Took a walk around to the front of the vette and see that my driver's side headlight is very dim. The light is almost yellow. Anyone had this problem? Note-- tonight I started the vette and the lowbeams were the same...bright. The highbeam dash light was off and all was well. I turned on the highbeams and both came on and the blue dash light too. About 5 minutes later the driverside went dim and the blue dash highbeam light came on. Any help would be great. Thanks - Kevin

 

Maybe the switch?

 

Check the ground where the wire breaks out of the loom right at the frame rail by the hinge.

 

Here is a pic showing a ground wire in the upper left corner of the pic and it is on the left side, should be similar on r.s.
