Default Headlight Specialist Need

I posted a few week ago about crazy lights. My 86 C4 never gave me problems with light opening and closing.I don't drive the car much at night so they weren't used for a couple months. My post mentioned right side opening and lights coming on without being switched on. I had to disconnect battery and bump the ground a few times to make it cycle closed. Now both lights illuminate but the left won't open. I have tried to troubleshoot what little I know om these lights.
There are two plugs on each side one for lamps and one or motor. Easy to find that. Both motor wire are hot in the plug all the time. I am guessing the other two switch a ground to determine open or close. Tell me what feeds what ????

Does the head light switch tell both on 1 curcuit.... Does it go to a relay to connent one for both or one for each side... I tried a hot lead directly to each terminal on the three lead plug and nothing. Same on the right side that is workin. Give me some ideas if motor went bad sitting or wiring or ground or switch relay Surley some one can help God bless every one that reads this post.
