Default Help!!!!!

OK I have a problem that I am sure someone can help with. This if for a 1993, long story short the car over heated really bad, none of the gages or lights told me this until the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Anyway I had to replace the water pump, temp sender (both) and all of the hoses, now there is a very slight miss while it is running, maybe a plug or wire. But the real problem I am asking about is if the cap to the coolant reservoir is off, engine cold, and you start the car the coolant will gush out of the reservoir, it didnít do that before it over heated. Could it be that a head gasket could have blew, or maybe a crack somewhere. It will also blow a very small amount of water out the exhaust pipes. Any guesses or information would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like a head gasket or possibly even a cracked head to me. Are you getting bubbles out of the radiator after the initial gush out of water?
