I just got my brake booster switched out, but now, there is another problem. Does anyone have any tricks to help get the rod from the power brake booster back onto the brake pedal. I can only get it on the end of the rod on the pedal but cannot get it to go all of the way on.

 

I can't remember how I did mine; I think I loosened the pedal pivot mount, so I could turn the pedal and align the little bar on the pedal with the ring on the end of the MC plunger shaft...

You're not tryin' to go over the cotter pin... right? Or was it a C-clip?
