Default "HELP" TPI Performance Work

Hello, this is Gracing76, I need some guidance. I have a 1976 Corvette that is all original (L48 – 350 Turbo). I’m posting in the C4 section because you guys know more about this then I do. I want to do some performance work to it. I had originally planned on going with a built LT1 and even considered an LS type engine. But since have decided to go with something a little less invasive to the car, so if I ever decided to switch back to the stock engine and transmission set up it would be easy. I’m thinking of going with a Tuned Port Fuel Injected engine (I love the way the TPI system looks) and a 700R4 transmission. I already know what’s all needed to get the engine and transmission to fit but here’s my question. How should I build the engine? I’m not trying to build a race car here. I just want the power to be there when I want it. Fuel consumption isn’t a huge concern but I still want to be able to drive it. The most important thing I’m looking for is reliability. I know there are a lot of choices out there when it comes to performance parts but which ones work together the best. I don’t want to have to bore the cylinders or install an over-sized crank. Inevitably I just want to bump up a stock 350ci TPI engine without needing to hack it all apart. I’ve also been looking at a few different types of aluminum heads but not sure which ones to go with. Also what year TPI system should I buy. Thanks for reading and for all the help.
