Default Help With Wheel Center Caps

Hello, new member here. Mods, if this is in the wrong spot, let me know please.

OK, so I recently purchased a Light Bronze 1985 C4 with stock wheels. I came across a set of rims from an 87 Special Edition that I couldn't pass up. I have always loved the look of the mesh / basket weave wheels and for $80 I wasn't going to pass them up. Yes, they need some dent repair and cosmetic restoration, but I already have them in the shop.

What I need help with is finding a set of 4 center caps that are original or look good on these rims. They are made by Riken, and I have had no luck the last couple days tracking them down. I even went to a swap meet yesterday and the one vendor with center caps laughed at me when I asked him. His reply was just good luck finding them. SO, if anyone has a lead on these center caps, let me know. I am willing to pay affair price, but not the cost of new wheels also.

If they are Corvette wheels, I would think some of the aftermarket Corvette suppliers would have them. However they are probably pretty pricey if they're not very many of them out there.

I haven't seen the wheels listed in any of the after market catalogs. The only cars I have seen them advertised on were Greenwood edition cars. So I don't know if it was a Dealer option or just an after market conversion. I have found 2 original ones, $30 each, and they were in pretty bad shape. I am going to start looking at fitting other brand / style caps once I get them back for the repair shop.

Might check with John Greenwood to see if they have any information or if they are still around. Good luck.

I just saw some wheels on a 1987 Buick GNX that look very similar to yours. Might try to find out info on those center caps.

Yes, the Buick GNX and the trans Am GTA both had the same style wheel. I am trying to track some down locally so I can check if they fit. I saw some on Ebay and can get them a lot cheaper.

THANKS for your help also.
