Default I repaired 1987 digital cluster myself

Hey, everyone, I followed Bryan Thompson's instructions on batee.com, to repair my dash. I did the solders and the cleaning, reassembled, and lo and behold, it lit up like it should. Couldn't see the gauges working because of the sunburned lcds. Went online to polarization.com and ordered the small, 6x10 inches, piece of linear polarized film with adhesive and removed the sunburned film from the lcd and replaced it with the new film, and it looks and works great. The only problem is the speedo is reading in km-h instead of mph. The center control switch, english or metric, doesn't change it. Is there something else that changes this?

Thanks
