Hi all!
I have a 1992 ZR-1 with an interior light issue. Sometimes interior lights come on and stay on. Sometimes they are off, or will eventually go off. The Door Ajar light is always on. If the lights come on while car is running if I open the door and hand press the door switch the lights go off (usually) but Door Ajar stays lit. When I turn off the ignition the warn alarm sounds, as if the door was open.
Even if the interior lights are off, the short, whatever the source, drains the battery after a few days. So, I have to disconnect the battery after I drive.

Everything else electrical seems to be fine. Any ideas about where to start an investigation of the problem.

Welcome to the forums. I would pull the doorjam switches and check for shorts (replace if they look bad) check the condition of the wires. Maybe consider replacing the interior light timer. You can Pull the fuse to see if that's your draw.
