Hello all. it has been a while since i've last posted. The last time i did i had tremendous help!! I have an 89 w/ 6spd standard trans. i recently put a new clutch in it(last summer). i've just started driving it again due to the weather. it seems as if there is play between the engine and trans.i bring the engine up to say 21-22000 rpm in second gear and the car bucks back and forth. i know this happens in standard trans cars but its really difficult to avod the car from bucking trying to drive at a steady speed.

Also, after my car warms up a clunking almost knockng noise sounds like is coming from the clutch housing area while it idles..

Does any one think i shouuld change the MTF?

any help would be more than appreciated!! thanks!
