I have just replaced the battery in my key fob. It has not had a battery in it for at least 3 years. It will not work, can any one tell me how to reprogram it. 1993 C4

Here is how to program your 93-96 FOB 1. Move your transmitters out of range (20-30 Ft) 2. Turn on the ignition 3. Push the Trip ODO button on the driver info center twice 4. With in 5 sec. press and hold Fuel Info button until the passive keyless entry light comes on. 5. Turn the ignition off but leave the key in the ignition. (Passive keyless entry light should begin to flash) 6. Bring 1 transmitter into range. The light should stop flashing and stay on to show the code is stored. (If only one transmitter is being programmed skip to step 10) 7. If more then one transmitter is being programmed, bring the programmed transmitter out of range (The light should start to flash again) 8. Bring unprogramed transmitter into range. 9. Repeat steps 7-8 for all additional transmitters. 10. Take key out you are done.
