I was wondering if this swap is possible, an LS1 out of a C5 to a 1984 vette. I want to swap the L83 out of my 84 vette and put in a LS1 engine because I want a more powerful engine in my 84andrealized that there are not that many modifications i can do to my 84 without spending alot of money.

 

I hate raining on this poor guy's parade, You got to consider the wire harness, computer and the engine accessories. They are not compable w/ each other. With $$$ and a lot of time and a donor car anything is possible. My personal opinion is to injoy what you have, maybe a cam change and save your hard earned bucks for what you really need. Just an opinion .
