Default Lil help? Girl in need😒

I have a beautiful black convertible C4 1990. Cannot find anybody to work on it. I live in Jackson Michigan... If we do not have the skill and expertise to work on our own vehicle....which I do not possess....does anyone out there have any suggestions on where I could go to get general maintenance and replacement of parts? No one I've called will work with aftermarket therefore no one can work on my car :-( any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)

Welcome to the forum. Is there no Chevrolet dealer in Jackson?

at the present time I need a new power steering pump and two front ball joints. I did find some guys who are Corvette aficionados who'd work on it at their homes.. Just frustrating that shops don't seem to want to work on any of these older vehicles :-(

I'd go with the Corvette aficionados who are willing to do the job at home. Ball joint replacement and power steering pump replacement are fairly run of the mill type jobs and are not unique to Corvette.

Look around for the nearest corvette club. Not sure where Jackson is but most major cities have one. Go on their web site or to a rally and make a couple friends. They will be helpful and will know somebody either a shop or a shade tree mechanic who can help you.
