Looking For Advice On Price
New member here! I said in my intro that it wouldn't be long before I started bugging people, and, well, here I am!
I don't know much about Corvettes. This one, if I decide to pull the trigger, would be my first, but I don't want to be taken for a ride on it if I can avoid it. I'm looking at an '84, so, yes, Crossfire fuel injection. It also has the 4+3 manual but the engine is blown. I can probably pull and rebuild the engine myself with just a little more invested in tools, so that's not a major concern. The car appears to be in decent shape for an 84, with the usual wear items like seat upholstery, faded carpet, and cracked dash.
He's asking 2K for the car, down from his original asking price of 3K. Worth it? Or would you counter with a grand or fifteen hundred?
Thanks!
