LT 4 Mods R they the same as the LT 1?

Auto LT1's come with 2.59 gears.

yes they did come with2,72 in the standerd shift tranny. automatics got the 3.07 gear you can buy them from mid american motorsports for around 300.00 phone 1800 500 1500

looks like i'll be changing the rear gear! 2.59:1...LMAO!

so 3.73 is good for this car and wont lose a lot of top end?

You'll lose some top end, and some gas mileage, if that concerns you but you will certainly have some more low end grunt! [8D] I have a 3:73 gear in my 69 Camaro which has a Muncie M20 4 speed and @ around 65 mph I'm running @ 3200 rpm.
