Default LT4 BUYING GUIDE.

Hello every one im fresh to the forum and i was wondering if i could ask you guys a few question.

i am in the market for a6 speedc4 corvette 1995-1996 i love the body style and interior, but if ibuy a1996 then that will make it a grand sport. witch i don't have any problem with a grand sport but i was wondering other than just the power difference is it really a different car?

also how do i pick a good corvette ? what are the key things to look for in buying a vette ? what is considered to be to many miles.

thanks every one in advance foryour support.[/align]

A 95 will be an LT-1 300 hp whether it is 6 speed or auto. A 96 will be an LT-4 with a 6 speed 330 hp, LT-1 with an auto. A Grand Sport was an option package of which there were 1000 produced (810 coupe 110 convertibles). They were admiral blue with red striping on the left front fender. As far as miles go, who's to say?Check for smoke out theexhaust and carbon on the exhaust tips. Any knocking or squealing noises from the engine is usually not good. Uneven wear on the tires equals alignment problems. Ripped up interior? Clean engine compartment and chassis? Good brakes? The general appearance and small things working is, at least to me, indicative of someone who takes maintenance seriously and shows pride in ownership. Atrip to a reputable mechanic for an unbiased opinionis helpful, too. A beat to hell car with 10000 probably isn't as good as a babied one with 50000. That would be up to you.
