I used to have a C3 but am wanting a newer Vette. I am after a 1996 LT4 but I'm not sure if they were ever sold in Canada. Does anyone know if they were?

If not, I'll likely just go with a C5. Thanks in advance.

 

Corvette Black Book shows 6,359 LT-4s produced with 348 96 Corvettes sold in Canada. It does not show how many of those to Canada were LT-4s. Maybe a call to the Corvette Museum would help.

 

If that was only 348 total Vettes in Canada, I can't imagine too many being LT4's, if any. I guess its gonna be a C5.

 

id say about 100 of those will be LT4s. Does it have to be a Canadian vette? What changes did they make for the exports? Only thing i can think of is an engine block heater.

 

Well, I'd rather try and locate one in Canada and it would likely be in either Toronto I hope, Vancouver or Montreal. Most other places in Canada, even Montreal, you can't really drive a Vette for a significant part of the year, its just too cold or too much snow.

Vancouver and Toronto don't really get that much snow, I was even hesitant to buy snow tires this year for my GTP.

 

i know of two guys from edmonton that have 96 lt4 vettes ,canada is not a third world country i dont think you will have trouble finding a lt4
