Both of those wires are "ground plane" wires. The other end doesn't actually attach to anything. just find some place you can strap it down with a plastic tie or something. Unlike most cars, most Corvettes have an all fiberglass body, so you have to have a ground plane. The ground plane acts as areflector or director for an antenna. Vehicles with metal bodies don't need a ground plane. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah...

No wonder none of you will tell me what that wire is for. Cause y'all got haynes manual too, just like I spent the last 45 minutes goin' to go buy, and it doesn't have any wiring in the diagram for the power antennae[:@][:@][:@]. What a piece of trash. What a waste of tree. Some birds probably got evicted for this waste. I go buy it for one thing - ONE THING, and it ain't in there. Nice picture on the front tho'...I wonder if the birds like it?

Man, if the binder for the pages was hollow, I could hang it on the toilet paper roller. But noooooooooooooooooooooo

I bought one of those books when I first bought my vette, lucky for me it had some pages missing and they gave me my money back. IMHO....there not worth the paper there printed on.

Uh-huh!

So we just went to the local library. I pulled Chilton's telephone book (all cars, '91-'95)off the shelf. 90 pages of Y body. 0 pages antennae, 0 pages wiring diagram. Some of the pages had grease on the numbers. Yeah, right. Cover up the missing pages is what it was...

It's a conspiracy. Double-aught, super-duper secret covert spy stuff conspiracy. Plain and simple.[sm=ts.gif]

Anybody seen Superdzzz lately??? Last thing I remember, he said somethin' about checkin' his wiring diagram. I think they got 'im...[sm=yikesomg.gif]
