OMG. I just got new speakers and a amp today......I get in the car and start driving the radio skips like hell idling and when I hit the gas it goes out COMPLETLY! Why tell me. I want to fix it now.....not monday1!![&:]

U live fairly close to where I do. You can come see for yourself all the issues I have. I still have body damage to the front the sound system is freaked up, the hood cable is busted so I have that special tool. The digidash goes completly COMPLETLY black if I hit a bump then it comes back on, I smell antifreeze. One goo thing that guys......I have a 160 thermostat and the weather is like 40s maybe low 30s in the morning. That is why I THINK my heat is not getting hot. The car never gets above 165......Ill post back when I find out. Oh yea, I have a bunch of audio stuff for sale. All four "bose" speakers that do work great plus a pioneer CD player with hook up in it for subwoofers "on/off". Its at midamerica and ecklers. Its 499.00 but I wil be willing to bargain for 250. Great condition. Need it outta here!!! Probably post it on ebay though. Having a yard sale soon. HAHA. Might see what I can get there. I love my vette and I decided not to give up on it. I have spent all my Leave time on this car replacing everything this is what I have done so far( Cross drilled slotted Rotors, calipers( painted red/ black brakets), Pads,stainless steel brake lines,relays, sensors, ECU, emmision hoses, AutoTrans filter/oil, flushed radiator ( a big goo ball came out[:'(] ), and straigtend all the fins on the AC, water pump[:-]( thats was a big job )...radio/DVD, I made a custom button to bypass the parking brakeso the DVD player works while in Drive speakers, VATS bypass, shocks.....etc. from like 7am to 2am for 7 days now, and it is possible to fix everything, just a few tweeks here and there. By buddy and I are goona give it a paint job Middle ofthis week....Hang in there Our cars are great!!! One step at a time!

 

How are the cross drilled rotors working out? Better braking? All opinoni on those would be greatly appreciated. I heard they crack though so I was wondering if I should keep NAPA rotors....Big quiestion. That vats bypass. How is it. Does it really work? Do you think it would interfere with a Viper alarm system???

 

The VATS bypass works great, u just hook it up to the plug under your steering. I have the one with the 3 switchs. They all work great. I dont know what it would do with an aftermarket alarm.The rotors, I think they would only crack under EXTREME braking, like 200mph-0 all the time, someone else can put there .02$ on that. They are not noisy and the breaking is MUCH better with the rotors and S. Steel brake lines.

 

Check your grounds, the frame to engine block, battery to frame, there are 2 body mounts on each kick panel, make sure they are all clean and tight.

 

Im taking it back to the shop tomorrow. I have a 2 year warranty on it and I am going to use it! If its there, I am not going to bother tinkering with it and mess something up twice as bad. Mech you have a pm[&:]
