Newbie to vettes. Have some C4 ???'s
Hi there,
I am looking at buying my first vette within the next 6 months. I've been looking at the C4's and have a few questions. First off were there any major interior changes throughout the years? Were there any major improvments in suspension? What year did they start using the LT1? One more. Will the Holley Stealth Ram fit under the hood of a C4?
Thanks
Bob

I don't know about the stealth ram, but the major redesign for C4s was for the 1992 model year. That's when the LT-1 started to get used and all corvettes took on the zr-1 body kit other than the 3rd brake light. I have a 95 and it's like riding in a fighter plane cockpit. Never been in an 80s C4, though, so they might be pretty cool too.

92 IS THE FIRST YEAR FOR THE LT1.. HERES SOME TIPS... GET A 6 SPEED... AUTOS SUCK. IF YOU ARE GOING TO CRUISE NO PROBLEMS BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO DRIVE A VETTE LIKE A VETTE.. LT1 ARE NOTORIOUS FOR HAVING OIL WINDAGE PROMLEMS UNDER CORNERING LOADS. THEY CAVITATE AND BLOW UP SO USE AN EXTRA QUART OF OIL.... TRY TO GET HD BRAKES THE REGULAR ONES ARE USELESS.. DONT GET THE 4+ TRANY THEY SUCK. WACH OUT FOR THE POWER STEERING IT WILL BLOW OUT UNDER LOAD... 92-94 ARE CHEEP AND LOADS OF FUN..THEY REALLY FLY ,,,GET A GOOD ALIGNMENT. GOOD TIRES AND GO!!!!!
