PS- i had the car for 3 days. The 3 steel cables went up the hood of the car and threw the windshield. Note that if i didnt duck they would of took my head off. I have minor injurys, such as 3 head cuts from the windshield, a huge mark on my jaw to my neck from the steel cable and a mark on my left sholder from thesteel cables. If your corvette ever loses control and is heading for these steel cables you better duck and if you have a convertible you just better prey they stop you. The cables stoped the car at the pillars that go up for the glass top. Very bad accident and i was very lucky.

If you ever heard of a rear end locking up in a 93 because of a downshift from 5th to 4th please let me know. This seems very odd to me on why it happened.

Enjoy the photos

Uh?, Wow, Reminds me I need to change my rear diff and tranny fluid. Any one got an idea on the right lube to use? Kyle, What were you doing when this happened? Speed? Cornering?

i was exiting off the highway, about 35-45 mph. As soon as i down shifted from 5th to 4th the rearend locked up. The exit is a slight turn, not even really a turn. I am still waiting for the response from the insurance company, hopefully they dont total it. It was a great car.

That had to be scary! I'm glad you weren't hurt any worse, cause the car looks pretty bad. Maybe it would be better if they did total it and you could just start over with one that hadn't been wrecked. I know, that's kinda cold. Besides, that was one clean lookin' car, I'll bet you didn't find that one overnight. How many miles does it have on it?

took me 6 months to find something that clean. it had about 83k on it, drove like new. Very, very sharp car. Hopefully if they total it i can find something newer or just as good.
