Default Rims

My rims on my 93 corvette get very dirty quickly. I was wondering if there is anything to prevent that kind of thing from happening so I do not have to keep cleaning my rims.
Thanks, Will

If it's brake dust that's causing this for you, you can replace your brake pads with ceramic based ones. They work very very well.

So ceramic disc brake pads work best on keeping rims clean better than any other brake pads

Don't get the tin inserts that go inside the rims. My vette came with them and they kept the wheels clean but the brakes overheated and stopping distance was greatly increased. Once coming down a long hill the brake fluid boiled and I lost brakes until things cooled down. I took them off and haven't had any problems since.

*nods* Absolutely. I *believe* that was one of the key design specifications; reduction in brake dust. Could be wrong on that, as I understand they are superior in all aspects from what I've read. Our Mustang used to be wicked nasty with brake dust residue; replaced the front pads with Bosch ceramic ones and the problem went completely away.
