Just took a trip of 1300 miles and car ran great - other than - when I accelrate above say 3000 rpms the car seems to run much less smoothly than below. I believe my clutch is nearing the end of it's life and this may be the cause or maybe this is an LT1 trait. I haven't driven the car to hard due to the clutch but it runs great on highway at speed but due to 6 speed I never get above 2500 much on highways but accelrating I feel the roughness - not missing just something. Any help is appreciated.

Thats not a trait of an LT1 but have you pulled codes? You may have an opti taking a crap.
