Default Spare tire

I finally removed my spare donught from the under carriage. Only 8 lbs left in it so I filled it to spec. Now I I can't get the carrier up high enough tosend the bolt thruogh the carrier. The only way is to drop the pressure back down to 8 lbs which defeats my purpose. I made sure the carrier is sitting in the rear hinge mechanism properly(swings up like a pendulum)and even pulled the license plate to get a better view of the bolt to no avail. Any ideas on what to do would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bad idea. Run flats make your ride alot more well BLAH. I dare anyone to prove me wrong on that because my mind doesn't lie to myself when I am in pain(males know what I am talking about)......Second, removing the spare tire completly is bad because it is what helps stabilize the car in a rearend crash. Also, I read**READ** that it helps protect the gas tank in a rearend crash. They make these bars that delete it and help fill in the space to make it cleaner but still provide the support....Im waiting for someone to prove my speculations here wrong.[8D]

I am sure you thought of this but in case you didn't, try loosening the bolt more. It will go. The front hingesare kind of tricky and the tire must be set in there perfectly. Keep fidgeting with it.
