I still have a new spare tire from my 94' camero, Will it fit on my 1999 corvette if i need it to in a pinch? Im just worried about when i get rid of the run flats and have a flat being stranded or tow truck bound? Does anyone know?

 

I BELIEVE THE BOLT PATTERN IS THE SAME. 5 X 4 3/4
SHOULD WORK.

 

I have the minspare from a '98 in the back of my vette. I haven't used it but the raegular product wheels switch back and forth from those two cars.

 

my car did not come with run flat tires from the factory, it was shipped to Japan when new. I not sure why, maybe something with Japans laws. It came with a little air compresser and a quart bottle of what I am guessing is a flat repair formula. Its stamped with GM labels and all the directions are in Japanese. haha. Hopefully I wont need to read it. The cool part is it is set up in the passinger side rear compartment of my coupe with a foam rubber insert to hold it all nice. It is a GM part so if anyone wanted it I bet it could be ordered. Hopefully if I get a flat it won't be too big a hole. If anyone is interested I could take a pic and post it. May be cheaper to build your own kit for those who don't want to carry the spare or keep their run-flats.

FYI
the other oddities I found on my car was some reflectors on the rear and signals on the front fenders. I had them shaved off when it was repainted.
