Speedometer problem

My speedometer/odometer works sometimes and it seems to stop working when cut vehicle off it doesn’t work all the time

Welcome to the forum.

I don't remember if the C4 still used a cable to drive the speedometer. If not then could be the transducer that feeds the computer.
