I've used Eibach springs on other cars I've owned, with fantastic results...

It may be difficult to do what you are asking on the C4 body / frame. The C4 uses a fiberglass single "leaf" spring in lieu of normal springs. Check into the suspension and you will see what you are up against.

Really on the composite springs in your C4, it tells you not even scratch the spring because it will weaken it. [] I ordered a front spring from Ecker's this week because my front spring is sagging. I can barely put 1 finger between the tire and the hood an you are supposed to be able to put your hand in there. The weak spring has already broken my air dam in front just by hitting bumps in the road and inclined driveways. You really need that air dam to help keep the engine cool. I'll probably be putting the spring in this weekend. [8D]

I agree that front air dam is Key, I took mine off to replace it, it was in rather bad shape ( drive ways, speed bumps and such ), I drove down to get some supplies with out the air dam, and the temp was up at least 25deg, and it took ALOT longer for the temp to lower was I got moving!
