Default Success Story

I thought you all would appreciate this... after much trial and error, I finally fixed my passenger side window! At first I thought it was the motor after everything else checked out ok, but I decided NOT to pursue the "full wallet assult" method and inspected it some more.

Indeed, it was not the motor, and in fact I'm not positive what it was. But after taking off the door panel and adjusting some of the padded cushions and tinkering with some of thescrews inside, I noticed that it went about 1/4 way down. Ah ha - so then I adjusted the padded cushions some more and then, voila, it works! The door panel is not as snug as I'd like, but that's a project for another time (a screw or two at the top, as suggested by someone on this forum, should do it).

Anyway, my baby runs great, the windows work, and I can take the top off now and let the breeze run though what's left of my hair. Now if I can only pay for gas.

Hope you all had a great 4th.

Congrats! BTW, before I put a screw through the top of the door panel I would check out the ribs inside the panel. I bet some of them are cracked and this is why the door panel "flops".
