my 1984 will start and run for about 5 mins. and die fuel pump works changed the fuel filter it needed it it started right up about 10 secs. it will die. any thoughs it has cross fire and when all else fails I get told thats my problem

How about the fuel filter? MY 84 has over 160k on it so it must have run some with the crossfire on it! Do you have a way to check the fuel pressure? Knowing if it had pressure when it died would narrow the field a little.
