Hey Guys

Probably a dumb question, but does a 01 C5 (G) Vin Coupe have a Cabin Filter? If so, where? My last Vette was an L-82 1979, so I have alot to learn about this one. I used the search engine and even Googled it, but no luck.
I know that the C6 has one above the battery P/S under the hood. I even looked under the dash P/S, but just found more fuses and relays.

Just purchased my Vette and trying to get some preventive maintenance done one it. My A/C blows out cold and strong on the P/S, but D/S is a bit weaker and not as cold. So I was thinking that the filter could be the first place to start. I have a repair/service manual coming in a week or two, but was hoping someone on here would know. Thanks!

 

No, there is no cabin filter. The most common reason for having cold air on one side only is a low-freon condition. Get yours charged up and it should be back to normal.

I have a 04 avalon, 04 hilander and a 07 rav 4. Do i have cabin air filters o n all of them ? the handbook doesnt say where it is ...........i think the dealer charged me for the 07 rav 4 but i wouldnt know here it is to see if it had been done. If the 07 RAV4 has one, it is probably behind the glovebox. Our RX400h's cabin filter is accessed by dropping the glovebox door (by loosening a thumbscrew on each side).
