Default Air Conditioning Not Working?

Today I tried to use my A/C for the first time since last fall (probably Oct.). The light on the A/C button would flash 6 times and then go off[sm=dontgetit.gif]. My heat is working perfectly but no air conditioning. Just wondering if anybody else has had this happen?

Well when I got in the car this morning to go to work it felts as if the A/C was working, but the light was not on, so maybe the light is going out. Not sure yet.

Your refrigerant may be running low as it might just be on the fine line to not kick the compressor off? If it gets any lower it may end up just kicking the compressor off all the time. Hopefully that is not the case, but there must have been some reason it didn't come on for you last month.

Good luck on everything and I hope it all works out for the best.

Nice car BTW...looks sharp.

Take Care

I'm definitely going to have to get it looked at when I get the chance. At the moment it really hasn't bothered me because I usually drive with either the windows down or the top off so I don't even think about the A/C.
