Default C5 Brake Upgrade

Does anyone have suggestionsfor a good brake system upgrade? I'm considering an upgrade to ACDelco slotted and drilled rotors, ceramic pads and braided brake lines. Good bang for the buck or are there better solutions out there?

I'd stay away from drilled rotors. I've seen too many of them crack. If you want super-high quality (excellent steel and cadmium-plated), check out PowerSlot rotors. I went all the way with Cryo-treated PowerSlots, but even the standard PSs are well above most of the competition. I used to have the dreaded "pulsating pedal" with the stock rotors, after only 6000 miles. After having the dealership turn those rotors and 6000 miles later (at 12,000 miles), my brake pedal started doing the pulsation dance again. I bought the PowerSlots and many, many thousands of miles later, my brakes are still perfect - like the day the PSs were installed. These may very well be the LAST set of rotors I will ever need to buy.
